On a sailing vessel each person has a job to perform and so it is with our church.  We need you as we sail these troubled waters.  Ultimately, we will sail calm waters again, but in the meantime, won't you help us keep things together and be the tough person we need?

In the troubled waters, we will find discouragement and despair and we long for peace and comfort. Jesus told His disciples they would have trouble in this world, but He also told them He had overcome the world.  In another place He told them they would have peace.  Peace comes to us when we have done our best to follow Jesus.  The world around us may be falling apart but in our hearts there can be peace.  In these tough times, I wish you this peace.
