We are facing problems in our church and I have been concerned about these. I believe we need to feverently pray for our pastor and our church. I will be the first to admit that I don't pray enough, but I know when I pray I feel closer to God, and I know this gives God the freedom to act on my behalf. Now God can act without our permission, but He has chosen to respond to our prayers. When we pray something happens. Situations may or may not be changed, but we are changed.

It may just be that we are experiencing problems and have lost ground spiritually because we haven't prayed. The Scriptures speak of knocking and the door will be opened. I believe this knocking is prayer. Jesus also speaks of prayer moving mountains.

I am going to pray for you, our pastor, the church, our community and the world. This is a tall order for my limited mind, but I believe this is the answer for me, for you, and for our world. Will you join me in this?
