FASTING & PRAYER - Facilitator Pastor Robert Webster
What if I told you all the spiritual giants in the Bible were committed to the discipline of fasting? What if I further told you that Jesus expected his disciples to be avid fasters throughout their lives? Or what if I indicated to you that there are spiritual breakthroughs in your life that will only come through prayer and fasting? This short course will look at what the Bible and the Judeo-Christian tradition has taught about the discipline of fasting. We will be studying Jentezen Franklin’s book entitled FASTING and discover how God can change our lives, churches, cities, and nation. There is literally nothing that can go untouched by a life that is committed to prayer and fasting! Let 2012 be the year you discover the power of God through a life of prayer and fasting. This class is open to both youth and adults and will last 6 weeks. By the end of the course you will know the Biblical stories of fasting, what a fasting lifestyle will look like, and what God will do in and through your prayer life when you combine it with fasting.
THE GREATEST OF THESE - Facilitator Nita Wright

This daily resource helps you delve deeply and intentionally into what the Biblical witness has to say about love - and what that implies for how we practice love. Morning Glories will meet Friday mornings at 10 am and Late Bloomers will meet Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. Please contact Nita Wright to reserve a book.
