The Preschool has been a vital Christian witness in our community and ministry at SFUMC for 44 years- since 1962. This month we hope to make our fantastic Preschool more visible to our entire church as we meet our Preschool kids and staff and share with you important information about this great ministry. Smyrna First United Methodist Preschool is distinctively Christian and provides a healthy environment for children to develop their emotional, social, cognitive, and physical skills.

All classes are two day programs and hours of operation are 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
We currently offer the following classes:
Mother's Day Out Class (Monday & Wednesday- Ginger & Ginny)
3 Years Old Class (Monday & Wednesday- Frankie & Shiela)
2 Years Old Class  (Tuesday and Thursday- Ginger & Ginny)
3 & 4 Years Old Class (Tuesday & Thursday- Rhonda & Denise)
4 Years Old Class (Tuesday & Thursday- Frankie & Shiela)

MISSIONS:

Stuff Our Turkey—we collected 85 cans for the Food Bank on our annual Can Food Drive.

Mitten Tree—40 mittens and 23 hats were collected for the Clothes Closet.

Preschool Family in Need—received Target gift cards, Walmart gift cards, Toys and Clothing from preschool families, church families and town of Smyrna employees. All was very appreciated (through many tears) by the family. The Preschool staff has received a huge Christmas Blessing because of everyone's generosity. Thank you on behalf of the family.

“I don’t even know where to begin, so I will start with a huge thank you and God Bless you both. Because of you, the church, the school, and the town of Smyrna, my family is truly going to have a magical Christmas and fresh start. You all have helped lift the bricks off our chest and end the frequent “moments in the closet.” I am so anxious to wake up Christmas morning and see the joy in the kids faces to know “Santa” comes even through devastation. I love each and everyone of you and you will always remain in our hearts. Thank you so much.”


Our preschooler whose father had a heart attack and triple bypass surgery out of state during Thanksgiving has returned. Praise God!
