REGISTRATION FEES

A registration fee is required to enroll your child and can be paid in the spring preceding the next school year to reserve your space. Smyrna First United Church members have priority when applying. Smyrna First members pay the full fee rate.

Because the projected budget of the Preschool is based on the fact that parents have reserved their child’s place in the program, registration fees are not refundable.

TUITION

2-day Program monthly tuition

Multiple children discount: 2 children enrolled $10.00 deduction from total paid tuition
3 children enrolled $15.00 deduction from total paid tuition
4 children enrolled $20.00 deduction from total paid tuition

Full tuition is due by the 10th of each month.
Regardless of holidays, scheduled breaks, or sessions, prompt payment is required.

Tuition must be paid by check or money order. NO CASH PLEASE. (It can be easily lost, and we will not have change.)

Please make your check payable to Smyrna First United Methodist Preschool and place your child’s name on the memo line.

Then place the check in an envelope marked on the outside with your name, your child’s name, and your home phone number as found on your registration form. Any payments made to the Preschool for field trips, book orders, etc. should be labeled accordingly and placed in the hand of the Teacher or Director. The Director will prepare a receipt for each payment received and place it with your child’s noteclip in the hallway where you may collect it when you pick up your child.

If a check is returned due to insufficient funds, you will be notified and responsible for all bank charges incurred.

Tuition is not adjusted for absences, because your child’s registration is held for you even if your child is not in attendance. Tuition is not refunded for days missed because of inclement weather (snow days).

LATE FEE POLICY

*Payment after the 10th late fee applied:   $10.00

*Payment after the 30th late fee applied:    $20.00

*Payment 30 days late:  Student may not return to class until full balance is paid.

EXTENDED ABSENCE

In the event that your child is out of class for a month or more, payments must continue to be made in a timely manner to retain your child’s place in the program.

REMOVAL FROM THE PROGRAM

If you must remove your child from the program due to relocation or other reasons, please provide two week notice. Failure to do so will result in a full month tuition being charged.
